I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). My license number is #84826. You can verify that my license is renewed and current here.
Covid 19 Protocol
I offer in-person (indoor and outdoor) therapy in Oakland and tele-health therapy services for California residents. When meeting in person, I am happy to wear a mask upon request.
Fees
I do not accept insurance at this time. However, I can provide clients with a receipt (called a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for partial or full reimbursement, if your insurance accepts out of network providers. Please contact me or set up a consultation to further discuss rates.
As a white therapist committed to anti-racist practices and the redistribution of resources in my life and my work, a portion of my earnings is given monthly to various organizations supporting Black and Indigenous Persons of Color (BIPOC).
No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate , visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
